Ted Nugent: Penetrator
It's telling that ‘Penetrator''s songs aren’t half as interesting as the members of Nugent’s band for the sessions – namely future Bad Company singer Brian Howe, along with Billy Squier’s rhythm section and keyboardist. But not even outside help could solve Nugent’s musical puzzle. Basically, this sounds like Foreigner with teeth. As a result, neither the younger ‘80s audience he was trying to please nor his older ‘70s fans found much to hold onto here.
Side one Tied Up in Love (Where Do You) Draw the Line Knockin' at Your Door Don't You Want My Love Go Down Fighting
Side two Thunder Thighs No Man's Land Blame It on the Night Lean Mean R & R Machine Take Me Home
