All AC/DC Albums Sound the Same
HERE’S HOW ANGUS YOUNG REACTS TO CLAIMS THAT AC/DC’S ALL ALBUMS SOUND LIKE THE SAME
AC/DC‘s iconic guitarist Angus Young‘s previous response to people criticizing the band for creating the same kind of music over the years went viral on social media once again.
The legendary Australian rock band AC/DC was formed in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young. Later, they welcomed singer Bon Scott, however, he passed away from acute alcohol poisoning after a night of heavy drinking in 1980. At the time, the band was working on their iconic album ‘Back in Black,’ which they managed to complete with the joining of Brian Johnson.
Since 1975, AC/DC released 16 studio albums, four live albums, and two soundtrack albums. The band achieved to sell more than 200 million albums worldwide since the beginning of their career 47 years ago.
However, they had to face some criticism about the music many people enjoyed dearly. There have been some people claiming AC/DC had been producing almost the same albums over the course of years. However, the band’s lead guitarist Angus Young responded to this criticism in a previous interview.
Recently, Young’s response shared by an AC/DC fan on Twitter and went viral once again. In his statement, Angus mentioned that he was sick of hearing people saying AC/DC had 11 albums which sound almost the same. According to Young, AC/DC made 12 albums that had the exact same sounds.
Here’s how Angus Young reacted to the criticism regarding the sound of AC/DC album:
“I’m sick to death of people saying we’ve made 11 albums that sound exactly the same. In fact, we’ve made 12 albums that sound exactly the same.”
