Van Halen Call It Quits After the Loss of a Member
By the time the legendary Eddie Van Halen succumbed to cancer in October of 2020, Van Halen had already been inactive for a couple of years. They weren’t technically broken up, though, as there were plenty of rumors circulating about a potential tour.
But, as we all know, that never got to happen, and the late guitarist's son Wolfgang Van Halen said it best — “No EVH = No VH.”
He did, however, agree that there should be a tribute concert held to honor his father. No official plans have been announced for one to happen yet, but we’ll be sure to let you know if that happens.
