Did Van Halen ever tour Australia?
Promoter Michael Gudinski scored Van Halen's only full Australian tour, in 1998, with Gary Cherone on vocals after the departure of David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar. The band played a Sydney only show, with Roth, in 2013. “They definitely underplayed Australia,” Gudinski said.

Did Van Halen ever tour Australia?
As an Australian, I always questioned this. David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar never toured Australia with Van Halen, but did tour many places in the world outside the U.S, even Asia and South America. Why?
In the late 60's and early 70's, many famous groups toured Down Under, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple, but never Van Halen in the 80's and 90's, until Gary Cherone.
