Mob Rules Tour: Black Sabbath / Doc Holliday / Wrabit / The Outlaws / MORE In general, Mob Rules is viewed as a decent Black Sabbath effort at best. However, the fact that it was their last LP with Ronnie James Dio and only LP with Vinny Appice until 1992’s Dehumanizer means that the ensuing tour was quite special. It started in November ’81 and concluded at the tail end of August ’82, with about 100 shows spanning four legs. In addition to basking in an oversized illuminated cross, spectators heard the exclusive quartet put unique spins on wide-ranging setlists, and periodic appearances from Doc Holliday, Wrabit, MORE and The Outlaws helped epitomize the era.
